Charges against Mara dropped

State prosecutors announced in Bridgeport Superior Court on Friday, Oct. 4, that all charges have been dropped against John “Jack” Mara ‘13, regarding his alleged involvement in an assault, which occurred in the Fairfield Beach neighborhood this January.

Bells ring for victims

On the evening of Sept. 24, Fairfield residents gathered under the gazebo at Sherman Green to recognize victims of domestic violence with a candlelight vigil. “We need to give women the strength to say enough is enough,” said State Attorney Judy Stevens.
