See how your favorite celebrities are connected to Connecticut. Keep your eyes peeled because you may just see some of them in Fairfield.

50 Cent – The rapper previously lived in Farmington, Conn., in the Sisti Mansion. The property was just put on the market for $18.5 million. “It will be a tough sell. Not too many people are looking for a 52,000-square-foot home with 19 bedrooms, multiple kitchens, two pools, a recording studio, a strip club, a 40-person hot tub and a reputation as a symbol of vulgarity and greed,” reported The Hartford Courant. Shockingly the reputation of vulgarity and greed did not come from Mr. Curtis Jackson (50 Cent) but the original builder of the home Benjamin J. Sisti.

Ann Coulter – This self-described “mean-spirited, bigoted conservative,” best known for her crude remarks in her books and as a television personality, was raised in New Canaan.

Candace Bushnell – Although she is most famous for being a New Yorker and writing the column that launched “Sex and the City,” Bushnell was born in Glastonbury. Today, Bushnell rents a house in Kent.

Donald Trump – “The Apprentice” star and money man previously had an estate in Greenwich, which he lost to his former wife Ivana in their 1991 divorce. But that hasn’t kept Trump out of Connecticut; in May they broke ground on Trump Park, a 34-story condominium building that will become the tallest building in Stamford when completed. To reserve your place, you will need $600,000 dollars.

Don Imus – This controversial radio host owns a home in Westport. Because of this, Imus is referred to as the Connecticut Cowboy.

George W. Bush – The president has long-standing ties with Connecticut because he was born in New Haven. His grandfather, Prescott Bush, was a U.S. Senator from Connecticut. After moving frequently, Bush returned to Connecticut to attend college at Yale University in New Haven.

Glenn Close – The “Fatal Attraction” actress was born and raised in Greenwich. The actress returned to Connecticut to film the “Stepford Wives” remake in 2004.

Harry Connick Jr. – This jazz great currently resides in Connecticut with his family.

James Van Der Beek – The “Dawson’s Creek” star was born and raised in Cheshire.

Joan Rivers – The queen of the red carpet calls Litchfield County home. She was also educated at the Connecticut College for Women in New London.

John Mayer – The singer/song writer was born and raised in the Fairfield area. Asked what Mayer remembers most about Connecticut by the Waterbury Republican American, he said “Geoff Fox,” who was a long-time WTNH-TV weatherman. “I remember waking up on winter mornings, looking out my window, and seeing eight inches of snow. Then, Geoff would instill hope that the next day of school would be canceled,” he said. Mayer returns to Fairfield often and has even been spotted at the Starbucks on Post Road and The Gap on Black Rock Turnpike.

Judge Judy – The queen of daytime courts resides in Greenwich. She is flown by private jet to Los Angeles to film her television show.

Kate Bosworth – This “Superman” star lived in Darien from the ages of 8-13. Bosworth left Darien when she landed a role in “The Horse Whisperer.” When working on “Win a Date with Tad Hamilton,” Bosworth was reunited with another fellow Darien resident, Topher Grace.

Katherine Heigl – The “Grey’s Anatomy” actress was raised in New Canaan. Heigl told New Canaan, Darien ‘ Rowayton Magazine about her memories of Darien: “I was so not into antiques at all, and there are like six really amazing antique stores that I don’t think I’ve ever been in. And I’m like, ‘How could I have never even gone in these stores and looked?’ Because now I’m completely obsessed with antiques. If only I’d just browsed!”

Meg Ryan – The actress was born and raised in Fairfield. She attended Saint Pius X Elementary School; Bethel High School, where she was homecoming queen; and the University of Connecticut, where she studied journalism.

Mel Gibson – The actor and director had a home in Greenwich. This summer, Gibson put the house on the market for $39.5 million. The 16,000-square-foot mansion, known as the Old Mill Farm, includes 15 bedrooms, 18 full bathrooms, a screening room, a pool and two guest houses.

Mia Farrow – The actress has a 70-acre farm in New Milford, where she currently resides.

Michael Bolton – The singer was born and raised in New Haven. Bolton now resides in Westport, where he recently experienced some controversy over wanting to demolish a historic farmhouse on the property next to his in order to build a “garden,” but really to add more privacy to his home.

Mike Tyson – Tyson previously owned 50 Cent’s current house in Farmington, which was just put on the market for $18.5 million. Tyson’s ex-wife sold the house to 50 Cent in 2003 for $4.1 million. Reportedly, 50 Cent spent $14 million in renovations on the 52-room property.

Oscar de la Renta – The designer has a country estate in Kent that he frequents when he is not at his New York apartment.

Paul Newman – Newman resides with his wife Joanne Woodward in Westport. Newman also has a restaurant in Westport called The Dressing Room. Woodward was previously director of the Westport Country Playhouse where the couple was actively involved. Newman started the brand Newman’s Own in 1980, making salad dressing that he distributed to local shops in downtown Westport; the company raises more than $175 million for charity annually.

Paul Simon – The famous singer from “Simon and Garfunkel” lives in New Canaan.

Peter Gallagher – Gallagher has a weekend home in New Milford, where he also filmed “Mr. Deeds” with Adam Sandler in 2002.

Regis Philbin – The “Live with Regis and Kelly” star has a home in Greenwich. Philbin can be spotted at hot-spot restaurant Valbella in Old Greenwich along with many other celebrities.

Rihanna – The “Umbrella” singer, originally from Barbados, resides in Stamford with her producer Evan Rogers and his wife Jackie.

Chris Carrabba – Carrabba was born in West Hartford. Carrabba recalled his childhood in Connecticut on decapolis.com. He said: “I grew up in the Northeast. I lived in Connecticut until I was 16, and then my mom, my brother and my stepdad moved to Florida – and that’s where I’ve been ever since. The rest of my family is still in Connecticut. I don’t really know what childhood was like, though; it was a lot of skateboarding and a lot of time imitating my brother and stepbrother.”

Tommy Hilfiger – The clothing mogul owned a home with his wife in Greenwich. The couple’s 22-room estate was converted from a farm and is now on the market for $25 million. The 17,000-square-foot estate is decorated in Tommy Hilfiger interior design products and includes eight bedrooms, eight and a half bathrooms, an indoor basketball court, tennis courts, a pool and a 2,000 bottle wine cellar, according to openhousenyc.com.

Topher Grace – The “Spiderman” star was born and raised in New Canaan. Although it was reported he knew Kate Bosworth while growing up, the two never knew each other until entering the Hollywood scene.
