If you thought the time was up for Flavor Flav’s search for true love, you were wrong.
At the conclusion of his reunion episode Sunday night on VH1, Flav announced that the time for his search for love will keep on ticking. That’s right, “Flavor of Love” will be back for another season.
But what about Hoopz, the girl he chose to wear her very own set of gold teeth? Maybe she just wasn’t his taste after all.
But on Sunday, it seemed as if she wasn’t into his flavor. I actually felt bad for him. He couldn’t even explain to the audience why it didn’t work out between the two of them. He had to hand that explanation over to Hoopz, who went on to tell viewers that they were simply on different paths.
I could probably explain the situation a little better. It was a reality show! It wasn’t real! Perhaps she was simply on the show for publicity. What a shocker. Isn’t that the reason why people go on a TV show to hook up with Flavor Flav? I don’t know anyone that is head-over-heels for the guy. Let’s be honest, there aren’t a lot of girls with posters of Flav with his clock and his gold teeth hanging on their walls.
Perhaps Flav should have went with the chemically imbalanced New York who was “in love” with Flav the whole time. She even confessed her love for Flav to his mother, who thought she was absolutely insane.
You have to give her some credit though, she did stick around until the last episode for a reason: either Flav really liked her or producers knew that she made for great television entertainment. I think it was a combination of the two.
“Flavor of Love” will return to VH1 and viewers can only imagine what crazy, gold-digging, wanna-be reality TV stars will make their mark on the show and into Flav’s heart. You have to feel bad for the guy.
So it was Brigette Neilson, Hoopz…who will be next?
