Everybody can show their face at the bar or a party, but if you want to be seen outside of those obvious social settings, then there are a few places that you need to go. The who’s who of Fairfield frequent these hot spots on a regular basis.

During the week it’s harder to gauge where people are going to be and when they will be there, but trust me when I tell you that this article has been thoroughly researched.

I have not experienced this first one myself, but a reliable source told me that anybody who is anybody is at Stop ‘n Shop on Monday nights from 6-8 p.m. For many, it’s the perfect time to re-up on groceries after a long weekend of devouring everything in sight after coming home inebriated.

The Wednesday night hot spot is La Salsa. Most people take their food to go, but, while waiting to get your burrito, you are sure to spot a new couple dining at a corner table.

Every weekday, from approximately 1:30-2 p.m., you can make your presence known in the LARC. That free printer comes in handy right before class. I saw about six people I knew when I was editing this article.

Us college students are lazy and need motivation. That’s why the liquor stores are popping off every Friday from 8-9 p.m. You get some serious college-dude points if you roll into Mo’s at 8:58 p.m.

There’s no better place to cure the Saturday morning hangover than Circle Diner. So many people are there from 11:30-1 p.m. that you’d think the University was offering a one-credit course on how to be a slop house.

You go there on Saturday because you don’t want to deal with the church crowd on Sunday. That makes Sunday morning prime for a quick breakfast sandwich at Village Bagel or Country Cow. The tight parameters in each place guarantee that you’ll be seen.

After recuperating on the couch all day, everybody is in the library Sunday night doing the work that they have put off all weekend. As a social scene, it’s literally out of control. I don’t know how anyone gets anything done. It’s like a bar without alcohol – just imagine if there was. In a perfect world…
