Fairfield alumnus Kathleen Murphy '84 has joined the likes of Oprah Winfrey and other female leaders in being named one of the most powerful women in business by FORTUNE Magazine. Murphy, who currently holds the position of chief financial officer of ING's U.S. Wealth Management division, debuted at No. 40 out of 50 on this prestigious list published by FORTUNE.

I lived here two years ago, can I use your bathroom? This was a pretty typical request this past weekend, as packs of alumni swarmed the beach area, determined to relive their glory days. And of course, this request was typically granted by the current seniors, as there are certain unspoken rules that come into effect for Alumni Weekend.

Who says you can't relive your childhood? This Saturday, 90 students got to do just that as they participated in Fairfield's version of the ever-favorite Nickelodeon game show, "Wild and Crazy Kids." Proudly decked out in outrageous costumes, 19 teams of five gathered on the Quad ready to compete as spectators cheered them on.

The Stags' baseball team seems to be back on track, recovering from a five game losing streak to sweep the Iona Gaels in a doubleheader at Fairfield on Saturday. The Stags outscored Iona 11-2 in the two games to move to 6-5 in MAAC play, putting them in fourth place in the conference.

Forty students were scheduled to receive free, on-campus GARDASIL vaccinations Wednesday as part of a test-run clinic provided by the Office of Wellness and Prevention. "This was a cancer preventative initiative," said Jeanne DiMuzio, director of Wellness and Prevention.
