Undefeated streak over: Harvard win vs. Stags

The Fairfield Stags’ undefeated streak has come to an end after thirteen games. The Stags fell to the Harvard Crimson 2-1, on a goal from Harvard with just 43 seconds left in the second overtime. The Stags, who entered the game as the 19th ranked team in the country, are now 8-3-1.

Stags beat Bulldogs 3-1

The Fairfield Stag’s men’s soccer team moved to 7-2-1 with a 3-1 win over the Yale University Bulldogs in New Haven, even though the Stags were out shot by the Bulldogs 15-6. Now, the Stags have been ranked 19th in the country by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) and are undefeated in the last six games.

No .19 Men’s soccer continues home winning streak

Fairfield was rewarded Tuesday with the No. 19 ranking by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America with an impressive 6-2-1 overall record and 2-0 in the MAAC. However, it has not been easy as many of those games have gone down to the wire, with Fairfield barely pulling out the win in the end.

With 45 seconds left in the game, Sam Bailey `08 scored the winning goal against the Marist Red Foxes in yet another thriller for the Fairfield Stags’ men’s soccer team. The victory extends the Stags’ regular season unbeaten streak to 13 games.

ONLINE ONLY: Field Hockey woes continue with 4-1 loss against Holy Cross

The veteran players of Holy Cross proved to be too much for the younger Stags as Fairfield lost 4-1 this past Sunday. The loss dropped Fairfield’s record to 2-7 placing them 6th in the Northeast Conference.
