“Rush,” released Sept. 20, is a must-see. This epic action-drama film takes us back to the 1970’s rivalry between Formula 1 racecar drivers Niki Lauda, played by Daniel Brühl, and James Hunt, played by Chris Hemsworth. Producer and two-time Academy Award winner Ron Howard was able to bring this rivalry back to life in ways an ordinary documentary would fall short.

Senior Joe Marino performed Friday Sept. 13 for students, locals and bookstore shoppers at the Fairfield University Downtown Bookstore’s Café Music Series. Marino played acoustic guitar and sang covers of a variety of current pop songs and classics.

Jackie Robinson (Chadwick Boseman) is back in “42.” This drama film captures the life story of Robinson and Brooklyn Dodgers team manager, Branch Rickey (Harrison Ford), as they work together to break the color barrier in Major League Baseball.
