Rocco Baldelli is the starting centerfielder for the Tampa Bay Devils. At 25 years old, he is one of the premiere young outfielders in the game of baseball today. He was a scholar-athlete at Bishop Hendricken High School in R.I., but chose to go into the Major League Draft after graduation.

Fairfield has picked up a much needed victory at Siena, defeating the Saints 72-67 to improve to 5-15 on the season and 3-5 within the MAAC. It is the Stags first winning streak of the season, after the Stags picked up their first road win against Iona on Sunday.

While their male counterparts have yet to find a win this season, the Iona Gaels women's team enters its matchup against Fairfield with a perfect record in the MAAC. The Stags will look to hand Iona its first loss.

Fairfield heads up to Albany with a chance to win its second straight game on Friday night. The Stags look to move to 3-5 in MAAC play.

This Tuesday, Fairfield squares off against conference foe Niagara at 7 p.m. in upstate N.Y. Fairfield (3-13) is 1-3 in the MAAC, while Niagara (7-8) is 2-2 in conference play. The 2006-2007 Purple Eagles are a very strong team. With five players in double digits on offense, Niagara is # 4 in MAAC scoring offense.

Fairfield looks to break a five game losing streak against the Gaels, who are the only winless team in Division 1 men's basketball.
