The women's volleyball team fell 3-1 to Saint Peter's in the semifinals of the MAAC Tournament in Orlando, Fla. The Stags were the co- champions of the MAAC regular season and were looking for their sixth straight tournament title and a bid in the NCAA Tournament.

Swim season looks to new season, new coach

The juniors on the men's and women's swim team have had a different head coach each season at Fairfield. Phil Palumbo took a position in the RecPlex after their freshman year, Don Galluzzi was offered a position at Yale University at the conclusion of last season and Bill Farley was appointed head coach for the 2002-2003 season.
