Concert Success

The flyers and posters had been up for weeks, and on the chosen day, the campus center was buzzing with busy bees getting ready for the big show. On Nov. 2, a rising band from San Diego, Called Counterfit, came to Fairfield to rock the socks off this sleepy town.

When one puts college and music into the same context, one thinks of a college radio station, or the plethora of college bands, but rarely ever record labels. Dave Grazynski and Nick Mercadante, '04, may be young, but they've already managed to successfully launch Last Night's Escape Records (LNE), hoping to produce professional music by aspiring bands.

A school of assassins… but, they have a new name

Seven hundred innocent people were brutally massacred in their village not so long ago. Surely this can't be true... Don't fool yourself. They were murdered in and around El Mozote, El Salvador in 1981. What's even more tragic is that every tax payer has the blood of these victims on their hands.

The premier of Hostile Takeover was on Friday, Sept 20th at 10 p.m. at the Levee, and was a blast.
