Tuesday, 3/11 4:37 p.m. A university banner was stolen from the Quad near 70 McCormick Road. A student and their guest were identified and found responsible for taking the banner.

U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal hosted a roundtable discussion about sexual assault Friday in the Dolan School of Business Dining Room with students, faculty and administration from Fairfield, Sacred Heart, Quinnipiac and other area schools.

Tuesday, 3/4 6:00 p.m. A female student reported to DPS that she was being harassed by a former roommate since September. The incident has been referred to the Office of the Dean of Students.

Tuesday, 2/25 9:17 p.m. A student reported $40 was stolen from their wallet in the locker room of the RecPlex. The incident is under investigation.

Friday, 2/21 10:29 p.m. - A freshman student in Regis Hall was found to be in possession of three bottles of rum, two bottles of vodka and three bottles of beer and was referred to student conduct.

“It’s like suddenly finding out an old friend, who you haven’t seen in 30 or 40 years, is still there,” said Rev. Charles Allen, S.J., University Chaplain to the Alumni Association. His friend is not necessarily a person; it is a place.

Tuesday, 2/11 8:19 a.m. – A librarian at the DiMenna-Nyselius Library reported an incident of graffiti. The phrase “truth is treason in an empire of lies,” was written on a wall in the first floor men’s bathroom.

Tuesday, 2/4 12:10 p.m. - Two students were caught by DPS smoking marijuana in a vehicle in the Fairfield Prep parking lot. Fairfield Police arrested the students and gave them a summons to court.
