Before the season started last year, Fairfield women’s basketball Head Coach Joe Frager appeared fit to be tied. Coming out of what apparently was one of the more frustrating practices of the still very young season, Frager was anything but subtle when he suggested that had he not been scheduled for an interview, he might have thrown himself out of the nearest window.

Women’s basketball wins Islander Classic

The Fairfield women’s basketball team defeated the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Texas A&M Corpus Christi this past weekend to claim the Emerald Beach Hotel Islander Classic title.

Record weekend for Romansky

There have only been two times in the history of Fairfield volleyball when a player has reached 4,000 assists and 1,000 digs in their careers. The first time came when most members of the class of 2014 were in second grade; the other occurred last weekend.

Volleyball falls to Missouri

The last time the Fairfield volleyball found themselves down two sets to none on their home floor, they pulled off one of the greatest comebacks in program history to claim their first MAAC Championship title since 2002. Last Thursday, they found out that history would not repeat itself just yet.
