ABC is Getting Ugly

Produced by Salma Hayek and based on a Columbian telenovela entitled "Yo Soy Betty La Fea," "Ugly Betty" won the Golden Globe for Best Musical or Comedy Series- beating out both "Desperate Housewives" and "The Office"

Idlewild: One big Outkast music video

One would expect that Idlewild is a movie which can and will only be appreciated by Outkast fans. Aside from the music, this movie really has nothing to do with Outkast at all, except for the fact that the members of the band star in it and they use their music.

Dupree brings little more than laughs to the table

What comes to mind when you think of a newly wed couple? Whatever you're thinking, forget it- once Dupree arrives at the Peterson house, it won't happen. Carl and Molly (Matt Dillon and Kate Hudson) are happily married in Hawaii at the expense of Molly's father and Carl's employer (Michael Douglas) in beautiful Hawaii.

Banner year for Fairfield Fulbrights

University officials had something to cheer about after five students from Fairfield's class of 2006 received Fulbright Scholarships. Fairfield received another pat on the back because the five scholarships represent the largest number awarded nationally to students from a university with a master's degree program.

Just in time for Halloween

I'll be honest when I say that I have never been able to handle scary movies well. I figured "Monster House" is rated PG and is animated, so I should be able to handle that with no problems. Long story short, not long into the movie, my roommate and I were hugging each other while telling the other that everything was going to be alright.

American Dreamz: a doozy?
