The quarantine that was placed on all students living in Campion Hall was lifted on Thursday, March 11 at 2:30 p.m. after a second round of testing was completed by all students living in the building. Students living in Campion are now able to return to attending in-person classes and other in-person activities on campus. 

Residents of Campion were alerted the quarantine was lifted in an email sent by The Office of Residence Life at 1:10 p.m. The rest of the student body was made aware of this in an email sent by Engagement@Fairifeld at 5:34 p.m. 

The email sent to Campion students stated that the “mitigation strategies proved to be effective” and urged the residents to “be mindful of the necessary steps to prevent the spread of COVID.” 

Fairfield University’s status remains, “Status Level: Green” for low risk, as just 14 active positive students remain on campus.
