Resident Assistants smelled marijuana in Loyola Hall, which led to the discovery of drug paraphernalia and marijuana. The matter is being referred to the Dean of Students office.

2:19 p.m.

Residence Life staff reported the smell of marijuana coming from a room in Claver Hall, which led to the discovery by the Department of Public Safety of drug paraphernalia and alcohol. The student was issued an infraction of possession of paraphernalia.

9:56 p.m.

DPS responded to the smell of marijuana in Claver Hall. They found alcohol, which resulted in four students being referred to student conduct.

5:36 p.m.

A car parked on Leeber Road by Townhouses 9 block was vandalized sometime during the night. The passenger side mirror was damaged. Anyone with any information is encouraged to contact Public Safety.

6:29 a.m.

DPS discovered damage to the northern Round Hill Road gate, which is also known as the Jogues gate. DPS believes it was hit by a car from off-campus. Anyone with information is encouraged to come forward to Public Safety.

10:51 a.m.

In Jogues Hall, ResLife notified DPS of suspicious activity. DPS responded and found approximately 14 grams of marijuana in a student’s room. The student involved was arrested. She claimed that she was not aware that marijuana was illegal.

8:18 p.m.

DPS stopped a male with a large and suspicious looking bag in the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts parking lot. A couple of 30-packs and bottles of vodka were found in the bag.

9:17 p.m.

DPS responded to a fight in the Aloysius P. Kelley, S.J. Theatre west parking lot. A student was assaulted by an individual who was selling narcotics. The drug dealer, who was not a student, sold the student an empty bag in place of promised drugs. As a result, a fight broke out. The drug dealer was identified, but the matter is still under investigation.

10:20 p.m.

DPS stopped three individuals outside of Walsh Athletic Center. DPS found in their possession several cans of beer. They were referred to Student Conduct.

12:02 a.m.

An individual walking onto campus was stopped outside of the main entrance. Several cans of beer were found to be in the student’s possession. The student was referred to Student Conduct.

12:14 a.m.

Public Safety encountered a young man vandalizing the stop sign on Lynch Road by the Levee. The student is being referred to Student Conduct for vandalism.

A student who yelled obscenities at DPS officers was charged with disorderly conduct and referred to Student Conduct.

DPS observed a group of males vandalizing a fence near Townhouses 10 block. Two students were identified and referred to Student Conduct.

12:16 a.m.

An RA notified Public Safety that the smell of marijuana was coming from a room in Loyola Hall. The student was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

12:30 a.m.

Four students were found smoking what DPS believed to be marijuana from a glass pipe in the Townhouses 1 block area. Students were referred to Student Conduct.

2:02 a.m.

An alcohol violation was reported by an RA in the Quad outside Regis Hall. No drugs were found, but three students were documented for alcohol and referred to Student Conduct.

7:04 p.m.

At the Lessing Field men’s soccer game, a young man was found in possession of several cans of beer and was referred to Student Conduct.

7:16 p.m.

After entering Campion Hall on the report of an intoxication, DPS came across a young man with 20 cans of beer. The student was referred to Student Conduct.

7:48 p.m.

A group of individuals heading to the Lessing Field soccer game had their bags checked. Beer, rum and vodka were discovered in the bags and three individuals were referred to Student Conduct.

1:16 a.m.

A car was stopped on Ross Road that drove past DPS with the smell of marijuana emanating from it. The car had six people inside. One non-student took responsibility for the marijuana. The students who were hosting the individual were referred to Student Conduct.

2:40 p.m.

A stop sign on Leeber Road by the baseball field was reported missing. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Public Safety.

10:18 a.m.

DPS responded to a fire alarm in Kostka Hall. The alarm was activated by steam from a shower. The steam was created by a student in an attempt to mask the smell of marijuana the student was smoking. The student was arrested for possession of narcotics and was referred to Student Conduct.

1:07 p.m.
Two students sitting in their car by Dolan School of Business were found to be in possession of Pabst Blue Ribbon beer, a small jar containing a green leafy substance and a bottle of Jim Beam. One of the students was arrested for possession of narcotics and both were referred to Student Conduct.
