No fraternities allowed!

Fraternities; most likely the word evokes an image of Belushi chugging a bottle of Jack Daniel's while wearing his "College" sweater in the movie Animal House. And while some Fairfield University students do a good imression of Belushi, there are no frat brothers at Fairfield because fraternities are not permitted.

No concert is simply Ludacris

No spring concert? This is "Ludacris!" With all the money that FUSA claims it has and with all the money that Fairfield has, why should students be deprived of a spring concert? Wasn't the whole point of 112 in the fall to bring diversity to the musical palate because a spring show of equal magnitude would be of a different tune?

From Cliffs Notes to publishing houses. Wall Street to Writers Block. Fairfield to fame. Jim Rees, a 1989 Fairfield University graduate, says he coasted through high school on Cliffs Notes, found himself success in the business world, and now is the author of the new thriller novel, "Silent Assassins."

Countdown to Hunger Cleanup

This Saturday will mark Fairfield University's 14th Annual Hunger Cleanup workdate. Students, faculty, alumni, and community members will gather behind Alumni Hall at 9 a.m. to donate time and money to help non-profit organizations throughout the greater Fairfield area.

Jam still Clammed Up

With last year's court injunction that prohibits more than 250 students to gather in common areas at Lantern Point, there officially will not be a Clam Jam for the second straight year. However, FUSA says that plans are in the works for a more controlled and less populated party.
