Tuesday, 4/2

3:27 p.m. – A vehicle parked in the Dolan School of Business overflow parking lot was reported damaged by what appeared to be another vehicle.

9:28 p.m. – A student reported to DPS that they had struck a deer driving on North Benson Road.  DPS informed Fairfield Police of the incident.

Wednesday, 4/3

3:19 p.m. – A student reported a case of suspicious activity when they discovered the door to their residence in 47 Mahon Rd. was left ajar.  Nothing was noted as missing, but a lock change was requested and provided.

Thursday, 4/4

5:04 p.m. – An expelled student was issued a Criminal Trespass Warning via a request from the Office of the Dean of Students.

Friday, 4/5

10:02 a.m. – A student reported they had been receiving harassing letters for two weeks.

10:58 p.m. – A student in 54 McInnes Rd. reported their StagCard and $10 in cash was stolen from their room.

7:36 p.m. – A grease fire set off a fire alarm at Townhouse 15 block.

10:20 p.m. – A full dorm evacuation was required of Regis Hall after a fire alarm was pulled with malicious intent. The incident is under investigation.

11:49 p.m. – A student reported that sometime during the evacuation of Regis Hall, their University-issued desk chair was destroyed.

Saturday, 4/6

3:27 a.m. – A student tried to enter campus at the main checkpoint with two unregistered guests.  The student was referred to Student Conduct.

3:38 a.m. – A student in Gonzaga Hall was referred to Student Conduct for urinating in a room.

4:20 a.m. – Officers on patrol in Claver Hall noticed an odor of marijuana.  The source of the odor was identified and the student was referred to Student Conduct and the Fairfield Police.

10:52 p.m. – DPS on patrol in Jogues Hall observed that an exit sign was destroyed.  The person responsible was identified and reported to Student Conduct.

11:36 p.m. – A student in Claver Hall reported their bicycle was vandalized.

11:37 p.m. – A student reported their bicycle was stolen from the traffic circle.  A suspect has since been identified and referred to Student Conduct.

Sunday, 4/7

6:59 a.m. – A stop sign on Leeber Road was reported vandalized.

1:03 p.m. – A student at Townhouse 8 block reported their vehicle was vandalized.

2:12 p.m. – A student reported to DPS that they were being threatened by another student in Loyola Hall, who was then referred to Student Conduct.

7:34 p.m. – A vehicle at Townhouse 9 block was reported vandalized by what appeared to be another vehicle.

Monday, 4/8

12:30 a.m. – Fairfield Police arrested a non-student for first degree criminal trespass after he attempted to enter campus at the main checkpoint.  The man was issued a Criminal Trespass Warning from the University in 2009 for possession of marijuana.

3:05 p.m. – The elevator in Loyola Hall was reported vandalized.

4:59 p.m. – The Fairfield University Energy Department reported a hydraulic line from a work vehicle had burst and leaked onto the parking lot near the RecPlex.
