Two arrested in plans to kill Obama and black children
‘ ‘ ‘
Federal officials released details of a botched plan in which two young men, who claim they believe in ‘white power,’ schemed to assassinate presidential candidate Barack Obama as well as to kill black school children, according to a New York Times article. The two men, an 18-year-old and a 20-year-old, were both arrested and charged in Tennessee.

According to court documents released by the federal officials, the plan was serious but did not look to have moved into an advanced stage. However, the article states that the two men had bought several rifles and planned to kill 88 people and behead 14 African-Americans in addition to assassinating Obama.
