How do you feel about an arbitrator overturning Tom Brady’s suspension for allegedly deflating footballs?
Caroline Metcalf-Vera, ‘18: “…and that the allegations were found to be true. But I do think that the punishment was unfit for the crime, and I think that is shown throughout different rulings throughout the NFL. I mean, we have rape cases and we have other issues, domestic violence that go with less punishment and then Tom Brady gets a four-game suspension. So, I’m really happy about the overruling, and I think it’s really important that at our home game we’re going to be able to get our rings with Tom Brady on the field.”
Andrew Burke ‘18: “I feel like he’s had a history of not being so honest — him and the Patriots — so it’s hard to believe [in his innocence].”
Chloe Lazar ‘19: “I felt like it was really ridiculous. I feel like he didn’t do anything wrong. He shouldn’t have really been suspended for supposedly deflating the balls. I’m extremely happy [that the suspension is overturned]. I think he deserves to not be suspended, so thank god.”
