Looking to get some real “inside” information on Fairfield Sports? Or perhaps some decidedly “outside” information as well? There’s a whole community of die-hard Stag Sports fans out there, and they’re all coming to www.fairfieldmirror.com.
The online staff of the Mirror is proud to announce a new message board devoted solely to Fairfield Sports.
“We’ve been following these message boards on the internet over the past couple of months,” said Mark Servidio ’06. “We were astounded to find this incredible enthusiasm for Stag Sports on the web. So when the moderator of one of our favorite message boards approached us about merging with fairfieldmirror.com, we didn’t hesitate to say yes.”
Executive Editor Ben Doody, a former sports editor of The Mirror, was also excited.
“I’ve been following these boards over the past couple of months, and the people that will be posting on fairfieldmirror.com are some of the most devoted Stags fans I’ve come across,” said Doody. “I think that Mirror readers will really enjoy interacting with these guys on the site. They have boundless energy, and will really add to the discussion on campus.”
“I think it’s a great idea creating a buzz in terms of athletics in the student body” said Marcos Ambrosio president of Stags in the Stands.
