I try not to live in the past, but like anybody else, there is some behavior I regret during my college years. Yes, even I have regrets. Unfortunately, college is a breeding ground for regrettable behavior: with all the booze flowing like wine and hormonal young adults running wild.

Looming finals and Christmas shopping on a tight budget is not quite stressful enough for me. So I decided to also have one exam, two power point presentations and three research papers to do too, all in the next week. Yes, it's going to be quite the couple of weeks, but there's nothing I like more than the thrill of not sleeping and barely even blinking for 48 hours and then filling in 100 little bubbles on a Scantron sheet.

I don't know how Thanksgiving goes down for most of you, but here's what its like for me. First, my family takes some time to reflect quietly on the journey of the pilgrims to America and how Thanksgiving united them with the Native Americans. Then we all go around and say things that we are most thankful for and sing Thanksgiving carols.

What do I want to be when I grow up? We've been asked this our whole lives, but never had to worry about it until recently. That at least goes for seniors; underclassmen, enjoy being able to dodge this question while it lasts.

Even though many Fairfield U students appear to be better off than much of the faculty here, there are still some Frugal Fannies among us who understand what it means to be a college student on a budget. For those of you BMW-driving, never-had-a-job, never-even-heard-the-words-"financial aid" students, a "budget" is an estimate of expected income and expense for a given period in the future.

As an NCAA athlete, I know that the list of banned drugs is a long one, full of names that most of us cannot even pronounce. However, the more the list grows the more intense the rules become on what is and is not allowed.

When we were young, Halloween was a time to partake in some extra sweet treats, hang out with our friends past the typical bed-time hour and possibly even go out on a school night. Now, Halloween is upon us and it's time to get real...real slutty. Yes, Halloween is the only time when we Fairfield ladies have a chance to really let our hair down and have an excuse to wear something a little more provocative than our favorite cardigans.

Four unmarked cruisers rolled up to the Seagrape Cafe. With black jackets, flashlights drawn and badges around their necks, Fairfield Police burst into the bar.

Alumni, or as I like to call them- ghosts of hookups past - invaded our campus, beach, and bar this past weekend, drinking our beer and keeping most of us out of the Grape all day Saturday. Down here at the beach the flood of alumni brought with them a slew of shenanigans and extra craziness beyond that of our typical weekends.
