Softball

by Christina Stoddard The women's softball team shone just as brightly as the sun under which they played as they swept St. Peter's College complete with two homeruns to continue their five-game winning streak on Sunday afternoon. The Stags now stand 9-6 overall.

The softball team was in North Carolina this weekend to attend the North Carolina State Wolfpack Challenge. On Saturday, the team lost its first match 7-6 against Western Illinois. They followed up the loss, however, with a 4-3 win over the University of Akron.
