Talia Scarpa, Head Vine Editor
Talia Scarpa is currently the Head Vine Editor for the Fairfield Mirror and previously served as the Associate Vine Editor. She is a Digital Journalism Major with Minors in Graphic Design and Marketing at Fairfield University. At the Mirror, she writes articles revolving around the latest happenings in arts and culture here on campus and in the local community, creates engaging graphics, and collaborates with the talented Mirror editors and writers. Talia is the co-host of “At This Point” podcast on WVOF, Fairfield’s student radio station. She broadcasts with her friend Anna every Thursday from 3-4pm, talking about topics ranging from films, fashion, music, pop culture, lifestyle, and sports. Talia has taken her love of design and marketing to Fairfield At Night, late night social opportunities for Fairfield students, where she has stepped into the role of Media Influencer, creating advertising for the events and posting real time coverage.
Through her roles at the Fairfield Mirror, WVOF, and Fairfield at Night, Talia believes that her love for a strong sense of community is the driving factor in her work. Art and writing are the pillars that continue to push our society forward.
