Richard Rosario, 21,the prime suspect in a dozen townhouse burglaries this semester, was arrested while in police custody on April 4 on new charges of robbery in the third degree and larceny in the 2nd degree. The charges were related to a Sept. 5 robbery at an ATM at the Bank of America on the King’s Highway cutoff in Fairfield. Rosario allegedly approached a Fairfield woman at 7:30 p.m. and he stole the victim’s fanny pack which contained more than $200 in cash, some credit cards and personal papers. Rosario was already in jail after he was nabbed on March 9 by Fairfield Public Safety and the Fairfield and Westport police departments after he attempted to enter a townhouse. He is being held on a $100,000 bail bond.
