In poetry and politics, Fairfield professors rise to the occasion
For Fairfield University's Kim Bridgford, the act of writing is the most rewarding part of her profession. So, when she was named the 2007 Connecticut Poetry Circuit Poet, she felt "like a dream had come true." Bridgford, who has taught in the University's English department since 1989, said Fairfield has always felt like home to her.
