The party, which is open to juniors and seniors, is organized by Residence Life and Housing along with the Residential Apartment Student Organization (RASOR) and the University Townhouse Experience (UNITE).

Recent events test injunction

Since 2001, a temporary injunction has prohibited not only Lantern Point's notorious Clam Jam but also parties consisting of more than 250 people. Nonetheless some students decided to assemble for the "Keg Races" and the "Forgotten Path" parties during the past two weekends.

Construction on campus continues

Kill Bill Vol. 2: Here comes the Bride

Bang bang...he shot her down...bang bang...and now it's time for her sweet, bitter, and bloody revenge. "Kill Bill", the fourth film by Quentin Tarantino, is the story of The Bride, a pregnant ex-assassin whose former companions, the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad, turn on her, murdering her fiancé, her wedding party, and even her unborn child (or so she thinks).

Risqué business: “Girl” borrows from an 80s classic

Sure, plagiarism may not be admirable, but in the case of the newest teen flick, "The Girl Next Door", it sure is smart. The plot borrows liberally from the Tom Cruise classic "Risky Business" (in my opinion perhaps the greatest flick about teenage rebellion ever), a smart move considering director Luke Greenfield's only previous flick is the Rob Schneider disaster "The Animal".

Jonnie feeling Proud after Battle win

In the third week of The Battle of the Band's competition Fairfield favorite JonnieProud arose victorious. But newcomers Brad Martocello '07 and Patrick Ginnetty '07 of the two man band "Arriving Sun" gave the predominantly sophomore band "JonnieProud" a run for their money last Thursday night at WVOF's Battle of the Bands at the Angus Steakhouse.
