Falling Short

In a game that came down to the last minute, Fairfield Women's Lacrosse team just fell short of evening out their season with a 11-10 loss to Lehigh on Tuesday. The Stags came into the game after a strong 3-1 record coming off the week. The loss puts the Stags at 3-5 overall on the season while the Mountain Hawks improve to 2-4.

Dr. Elliot Pellman had headed the NFL's concussion committee since it was founded in 1994 before resigning in February of this year. Starting in 2003, the committee began publishing a series of articles in which they excluded many cases that went contrary to their beliefs.

Women’s Head Basketball Coach Dianne Nolan Steps Down

Head women's basketball coach Dianne Nolan announced Tuesday that she would step down after 28 years on the sidelines. "It's time for a change and the time was right," Nolan said. "My boys are going off to college. Actually, one of them is going to play lacrosse here, and it will be the first time that I will have the chance to explore some things and that is something I am looking forward to.
