Drops of sweat ran down the forehead of Michael Barrett '07 while his eyes, which were still glued to the computer screen, showed signs of frustration. His frequent deep breaths were reminiscent to many students during finals week. But how is this possible when it is only September? It was not a mathematical algorithm or an abstract theory that Barrett was trying to comprehend; instead, he was competing against the clock as he waited for the e-mail system to revive itself.

In Brief: New charges filed against townhouse burglary suspect

Richard Rosario, 21,the prime suspect in a dozen townhouse burglaries this semester, was arrested while in police custody on April 4 on new charges of robbery in the third degree and larceny in the 2nd degree. The charges were related to a Sept. 5 robbery at an ATM at the Bank of America on the King's Highway cutoff in Fairfield.
