This Women's History Month we rightfully celebrate the advances women have made, but note that a celebration of past events is not as good as victory over inequalities today, and finally (in a perfect world) not needing equalizing factors like a Women's History Month at all.

The terrors of being on the top… bunk, that is

Luxuriating in the deep abyss of a peaceful sleep, I glide through nonsensical dreams - buying groceries from a troll under a bridge, dancing with my friends in the Piazza San Marco, riding down a hill in a rickshaw at an uncontrollable speed, unable to be stopped, trying to break myself free - This is the point when I fall five feet through the air and land hard on my stomach on a pair of flip-flops, a box of Family Guy DVDs, and a "Bananas in Pajamas" doll.

It's no secret that Fairfield women happen to be amongst the top collegiate fashionistas -- our school is known for featuring A-list fashion to match our famously beautiful faces. But however savvy we claim to be, there's an invisible line that seems to be crossed again and again: the division between sexy and skanky.
