Freshman year, I learned from personal experience that you can't rely on your friends for a condom when it's 2 a.

Why would you hook up in the FUSA office? Maybe you have a thing for politicians or maybe bidding for Sacred Heart's old musical acts is getting a little stressful and you need to unwind. Maybe the paint fumes from all those posters are getting to your head.

Those seeking "suite" accommodations: look no further than Claver. The suite-style setup prepares students for the more communal living style of upperclassman beach and townhouse living. It also offers some privacy by separating the two rooms with a common bathroom.

For the third year in a row, CVS is the most popular place to purchase condoms. With a wide variety of brands, flavors and sizes, CVS makes it easy for students to find the best condom to suit their 'needs.' Since you can buy them in bulk, you don't have to go scrambling around the dorms or the townhouses 'when in need.

Even if ghosts don't frighten you, Dolan is still not the most desirable place to live simply because of its location. Not everyone is excited about the 15 minute walk to central campus, especially during the winter. If you forget a paper, you better sprint back to ensure that you'll make it to class on time.

Unfortunately, Blockbuster hasn't held exactly true to its promises, with exceptions and exclusions attached to their oh-so-tempting offers. A student eager to procrastinate on that English paper by watching the latest Joaquin Phoenix flick may be sorely disappointed.

Those familiar yellow letters looming over the entrance are a comforting assurance that we definitely won't leave empty-handed. Blockbuster's incredible selection and convenient locations (one on Black Rock and one on Post Road in Westport) have pushed it to the top of our video rental list once again.

Assuming that those of you who choose the beach as the best hook-up spot actually meant a house on the beach (we all know how uncomfortable having sand in your sneakers is, imagine having it anywhere else), I'd have to say I agree. If you're hooking up at a beach house, chances are you're hooking up with a senior and, excuse me for channeling Paris Hilton, but that's hot.

But a recent poll by the University of Toledo indicates that college students may not be taking the news - or their primary news source - very seriously.

Now, after having spent a year in a trailer herself, along with the rest of the Housing and Residence Life departments, Cantrell left Fairfield on March 31 to take a new position in Maryland, just 20 minutes away from Ocean City.
