Unfortunately, Blockbuster hasn’t held exactly true to its promises, with exceptions and exclusions attached to their oh-so-tempting offers. A student eager to procrastinate on that English paper by watching the latest Joaquin Phoenix flick may be sorely disappointed. And, embittered with the forgettable Lindsay Lohan movie they ended up with and reluctant to make another trip back to return it, students may find a hefty fine waiting for them at the counter. FU students’ fickle attitude towards the Buster proves that although we may get frustrated with the long lines and tricky promotions, we harbor a lasting fondness for the prominent franchise giant.
