On Tuesday Oct 15, 2002, The Lukacs Gallery of Fairfield University hosted the opening reception of "The Blame Show;" curated by Eleanor Heartney and Larry Litt. The show features a collection of visual and documentary art reflecting the political unrest of America since the terrorist attacks of Sept 11.

On March 26, Judith Page opened her exhibit "Flesh and Blood" at Fairfield's Lukacs Gallery.

Last Friday, Fairfield's Dance Ensemble produced their most successful show yet. There was an enthusiastic, sell-out crowd at the Quick Center. The ensemble consists of 45 members who put together the entire show from choreographing dances to designing costumes.

Activity increased on both sides of the merit pay debate last week, with the faculty and the administration taking steps to work towards a compromise. A motion was passed by a vote of 120-4 with seven abstentions objecting to the Dec. 6, 2001 vote by the Board of Trustees to impose a merit pay plan on the faculty, despite the nearly unanimous objections of the faculty.
