Tuesday, 2/4

12:10 p.m. – Two students were caught by DPS smoking marijuana in a vehicle in the Fairfield Prep parking lot. Fairfield Police arrested the students and gave them a summons to court.

Wednesday, 2/5

1:19 a.m. – Two students were documented after DPS identified them entering campus through the Townhouses gate.

Friday,  2/7

11:37 p.m. – Residents in Townhouses 2 block heard a window break and discovered that an ice ball had been thrown into their kitchen. No injuries were reported, no suspects have been caught.

Saturday, 2/8 

12:08 a.m. – A student in the area of Townhouses 5 block called DPS to report that she was being harassed by two male students. Officers and an area coordinator were dispatched and the male students were brought to Loyola Hall. The complainant did not press charges.

4:44 p.m. – A Regis Hall resident reported his detergent, dryer sheets and laundry basket stolen. DPS checked surveillance and knocked on proximate doors but no suspicious activity was found.

9:35 p.m. – The driver of a car in the Quick Center parking lot accidentally struck a parked car, damaging it slightly. DPS tried to contact the owner of the parked car, but they never responded.

10:12 p.m. – An area coordinator in Regis Hall reported that students were refusing to cooperate. Seventeen beer cans were eventually retrieved from the room and a resident was charged with alcohol possession.

Sunday, 2/9

2:54 a.m. – A Yellow Cab operator in the Loyola Drive traffic circle said he dropped off a fare and the individual did not pay. DPS used surveillance footage and identified the individual. The student was contacted by DPS and then paid.

3:10 p.m. – A patrol officer observed a male student on the lower level kitchen roof at 42 Bellarmine Road. Once spotted, the student attempted to hide on another part of the roof. Other units arrived and the suspect was apprehended.

3:27 p.m. – A resident in 70 McCormick Road reported food items taken from her room. She believes her roommate to be possibly responsible. The roommate has since denied involvement.

6:06 p.m. – A resident in Townhouses 6 block reported that when she returned to her house, she found a shattered pane of glass. The object used is unknown and no injuries were reported. A work order has been submitted.

Sunday, 2/10

7:08 a.m. – A Townhouses 13 block resident reported a passenger side mirror was smashed on her Audi. Photos were taken of the damage. No suspects have been identified.

8:36 a.m. – A caller from Gonzaga Hall reported that around 9 p.m. the night before she heard “what’s up n—–” and “go home you dumb n—–.” When the individual opened the door, she witnessed males running down the hallway. She was unable to get a description of the males and there are no suspects as of printing.

9:07 a.m. – Signs were ripped down from the walls in Jogues Hall in areas of the building where surveillance cameras have not been installed. there are no suspects.

1:28 p.m. – An anonymous female student reported to DPS that the appearance and comments made by a male classmate made her feel unsafe. The student who filed the report has never had any direct contact with the male and he never directed behavior toward her.

9:03 p.m. – A box of condoms, $50 cash and a tempurpedic mattress pad were reported stolen by a Claver Hall resident after he returned from a weekend off campus. No suspects have been identified.

9:57 p.m. – A student reported that her new jacket was stolen. A student who mistakenly thought the jacket to be her own brought it to the RecPlex lost and found after walking halfway home. The coat was returned. No charges were pressed.
