Aerosmith’s newest album doesn’t leave listeners “Jaded”

They're "back in the saddle" again! With the release of their 14th studio album, Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Brad Whitford, Tom Hamilton, and Joey Kramer have proven that Aerosmith is one of the most innovative and eclectic bands of our time. Being a child of the 80s, one could not possibly have missed such hits like "Janie's Got A Gun," "Dude Looks Like A Lady," or "Love In An Elevator.

Franz Ferdinand is superfantastic

I don't think myself or anyone else could have predicted that screaming "They call me superfantastic!" in German at the end of a rock song would lead to critical and commercial success. But then Franz Ferdinand came along. The band (named after the Austrian archduke whose assassination started World War I) hails from Glasgow, Scotland, and their sound is something like The Strokes with a dash of the Depeche Mode, chock full of sardonic lyrics and cheap synthesizers.

Guys' houses and girls' houses. Whether you live at the beach or on campus, the differences are extreme, possibly almost as extreme as beer and orange juice. After four years of college, guys you need to clean your rooms. I understand that this may be your last time to be a bachelor, but you are gross.

As a beach resident for the last two years, I am qualified to speak on the numerous differences between girls' houses and guys' houses down at Fairfield Beach. Every girls' house that I have ever been in smells pleasant, sort of a floral scent emanating from a Yankee candle or the fruity aroma of shampoo.

Full house at FU: Poker is a passion for some Fairfield students

Know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em. Not only is it the chorus to Kenny Roger's classic hit, but this gambling slogan has recently become a motto for some Fairfield students. From dorm rooms to the living rooms of many townhouses the sounds are familiar: cards being shuffled, chips clicking together, the pushing of all the chips into the pot and the cheers when the final ace is thrown on the table.

LETTER: University loses out if Court is dismissed

To The Editor: I am extremely bothered by the possibility that Professor Court may not be hired back next year. I feel that if this decision is a tremendous mistake and needs to be granted extreme reconsideration. This school prides itself on its strong Jesuit identity, which is deeply rooted and founded upon a solid commitment to education.

Their target was overwhelmingly Tutsi, accounting for 90 percent of the 800,000 killed. Hutu moderates were also targeted. There were UN troops in the country at the time, under the command of General Romeo Dallaire.
