As May draws near, the Media Center is preparing to hold its fourth annual Cinefest Fairfield: A one night showcase of the most exemplary student work produced in the past school year. Every year, Cinefest shows a range of short films from senior capstones to those made in film making classes to short animated, live action or experimental pieces.

It's that time of year again. The time when the sun shines bright, the jackets come off and finals are wrapping up. Summertime holds a special place in everyone's heart for a variety of reasons. For me, it's the summer music festivals that get me pumped up for the semester end.

It's a tie between freshmen year Thursdays at Clubhouse or senior year Mock Wedding. Either way, all 4 years have been amazing! -- Keith Morris '08 "This year when Townhouse 111 surprised my house, 141, with a sexy underwear party. They weren't much to look at, but those guys sure can belly dance.

Lots to do, hundreds of people, and some wonderful speakers, was the image Megan Steel '08 used to describe Fairfield University's 2nd Annual Relay for Life. Colleges Against Cancer held the 12-hour event, which started 5 p.m. on Friday, in the Rec Plex.
