Crime Beat January 28-February 2

Sunday 2/2 1:47 p.m. – DPS responded to a complaint of a non-authorized pet in a residence of the Townhouses 5 block. It was discovered that the pet, a rabbit, was being served alcoholic beverages. “Upon response, officers determined the animal had bloodshot eyes.” The animal has been released to the custody of the area coordinator, and the students responsible have been referred to student conduct.

‘Post Production’: what Sodexo does with your leftover food

Every morning Bryan Davis, the general manager of the Sodexo team at Fairfield, arrives at his desk on the fourth floor of the Barone Campus Center and reviews the weekly food schedule. Throughout the week, he and his catering team oversee the processes by which the food served in the Barone Main Dining Hall is ordered, stored and prepared for students to eat.

Accused student pleads ‘not guilty’

The former Fairfield sophomore who turned himself in to Fairfield Police over winter break was arraigned in Bridgeport Superior Court on Tuesday. Police said he told his friends that he had sexually assaulted a female freshman.
