Fairfield reacts to U.S. colleges requiring study abroad experience

But would these students feel the same way if studying abroad was a requirement instead of a choice? Starting next fall, incoming freshmen at Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland, will be required to spend a minimum of three weeks abroad in order to graduate.
