If you haven't heard of Ben Folds by now, it's about time you do your homework. Once front man of the piano-rock trio, Ben Folds Five, Ben Folds is considered one of the most talented singer/songwriters of our generation. After storming the charts in the late 90s' with hits like "Underground" and "Brick," the trio decided to call it quits in early 2000, leaving the talented composer band-less.

Thanks to new forms of technology such as satellite radio and iPods, public radio has become less and less popular over the recent years. Instead of listening to local radio stations to discover new music, students these days turn to websites such as purevolume.

So many of life's experiences originate from the five senses. Our memories, daily lives, relationships and even the workplace are all affected by the abilities to see, hear, taste, smell and touch. I've recently come to realize that the Christmas season is one of the few times, if not the only, when every sense is appeased.

I hear all of these rumors that most high school relationships will end by Thanksgiving of freshman year. Should I be worried about this? I'm in a relationship with my high school boyfriend still. --In love, but nervous Ah, so you're afraid of the upcoming "Dumpsgiving" holiday.
