Von Arx elected as new F.U. president
The Board of Trustees has unanimously elected Rev. Jeffrey von Arx, S.J., the Dean of Fordham College at Rose Hill, as the new president of Fairfield University. Von Arx said it was with a "sense of humility and great responsibility" that he accepted the invitation to become Fairfield's eighth president during a press conference today in the Barone Campus Center.
