No questions asked, most seniors want to live at Fairfield beach their senior year. Students cherish this privilege and look forward to having a beach house as early as the day of their campus tour.

Meningitis kills Marist student unexpectedly

Earlier this month, one Marist College student noticed her roommate suffering from strep throat, fever and aches in her joints. Shortly thereafter her roommate was dead. Caitlin Boyle, 19, a junior at Marist College, died Nov. 17 of bacterial meningitis.

Career or family? Recent FU panel says women can have both

"Many Women at Elite Colleges Set Career Path to Motherhood," by Louise Story, an article which appeared in The New York Times in September, evoked a whirlwind of interest in Fairfield faculty and students.

Senior planning 200 Nights alternative

Seniors passed the 200 nights mark last weekend, but there is no word of a school-supported replacement for the 200 Nights celebration. As a result, a Fairfield senior has decided to take matters into her own hands and plan a new tradition - 100 Nights. "I want to plan something for our class before graduation where we can celebrate being seniors," said Ashlee Fox '06.

Life is a “Cabaret”

However, all of the above themes are showcased in the first production of the year: the well-known musical "Cabaret." "Cabaret is about seduction, scandal and sex," said Jodie Pfau '07, Theatre Fairfield's Public Relations coordinator and also a member of the cast.
