Fairfield University’s Career Center will be hosting its annual Spring Career & Internship Fair from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 15 in the Leslie C. Quick Jr. RecPlex Fieldhouse.

For this year’s edition of the fair, the Career Center informed that it would be displaying more than 85 organizations that will be offering job and internship opportunities for Fairfield students of all years.

Even though registration will not be required for those attending the fair, the Career Center advises students to register prior to the event through the Stags4Hire/Handshake app. The list of employers participating in the Spring Career Fair, which ranges from nonprofits, Healthcare, Government, Education and other business-related companies, is visible to students through the Handshake app.

The center also emphasizes the importance of preparing beforehand for events like these and recommends students use their resources to do so.

“The Career Counselors in each school’s Career Center and trained CPAs (Career Peer Advisors) are available to help you with Stags4Hire, your resume and cover letter, networking tips and much more!” they write in the Handshake event description.

They also tell students to “plan to meet with a counselor or CPA before the fair.”

At the fair, the Career Center will have an “Ask an Advisor” table, a LinkedIn photo booth space for students to update their profile pictures and a printing station for those who need to print additional copies of their resumes.
