Tuesday, Oct. 2

9:11 p.m. A student suffered a broken wrist at an intramural football game. The student was transported to the hospital.

10:06 p.m. Students were found shooting water balloons from Lessing Field toward Campion Hall. One student took off running. They were identified on videotape, the balloons were discarded and the slingshot was retained by Public Safety.

11:35 p.m. A female freshman was found intoxicated at the main entrance to campus. She had taken five shots of vodka and was brought to the hospital via ambulance when she began vomiting and was unable to stand.

Wednesday, Oct. 3

1:20 a.m. Loud noises were reported coming from the townhouses. The noises were found to be coming from a birthday party where candles were confiscated and one girl was brought to the Health Center for intoxication.

Thursday, Oct. 4

4:42 p.m. A Public Safety officer smelled marijuana in the lower level of the BCC. A Sodexho employee was questioned and admitted to smoking marijuana on break. The employee was reported to Sodexho management to handle.

7:07 p.m. A freshman came into the Department of Public Safety with a head injury. The student had tripped on the base of a light pole and was transported by Public Safety to the Health Center.

8:06 p.m. A student was spotted carrying a heavy black bag into a dorm. The student was stopped and officers found a 30-pack of Coors Light. The beer was dumped out and the student was written up.

8:59 p.m. A University College student was found in a car in the Regis parking lot with the tailgate open. An empty Captain Morgan’s bottle was found along with a duffle bag full of alcohol. The student was written up.

11:08 p.m. An officer-on-bike at the townhouses found students walking out with beer in their hands. The students were reported to the Conduct Board.

Friday, Oct. 5

10:45 a.m. A Pritchard employee reported a TV missing from the Campion Hall lounge. Another Pritchard employee found the TV on the fourth floor of Campion. The event is under investigation.

9:33 p.m. A 15-year-old female was found intoxicated at a Prep football game. The girl’s stepfather was located.

Sunday, Oct. 6

3:17 p.m. A student reported coyotes walking around near the townhouses. Animal Control came to investigate the situation.

Monday, Oct. 7

12:55 a.m. The Health Center received a call from a student who broke his hand on the slope behind the townhouses. The student got his own ride to St. Vincent’s Medical Center.

4:48 a.m. A Campion Hall resident reported extreme stomach pain. She was transported to Bridgeport Hospital. The incident was not alcohol-related.

3:39 p.m. A student reported a broken window during the night. The student was woken up around 1 a.m. by a noise. A bottle of salad dressing was found to have been used to break the window.

Tuesday, Oct. 8

3:02 a.m. A student who had taken caffeine tablets was sent to the hospital by ambulance from the Health Center.

3:07 a.m. A student from Loyola Hall fell out of bed and hurt her knee. The student was taken to the Health Center and later to the hospital.
