10th Annual Leadership Recognition Ceremony – The 10th Annual Leadership Recognition Ceremony will take place at 8 p.m. in the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts. The ceremony fosters a sense of community amongst our student leaders by honoring and recognizing students who have gone above and beyond in service to their peers and to the Fairfield University campus community and who have exemplified the Jesuit values that we hold dear. All are welcome to attend to support our nominees.

2018 Research Symposium – The annual Symposium features the scholarly work of nearly 500 full time or part time undergraduate and graduate students from almost every discipline on campus. Students present research posters, performances and other creative works that celebrate the vibrant spirit and intellectual vitality of Fairfield’s student body. Whether working individually or with others, the works and projects on display highlight the importance of Fairfield’s Jesuit mission to promote scholarship through service, international engagement and to strive for excellence in work that contributes to the common good. The Symposium is in the Dogwood Room from 2-4 p.m., featuring Nursing and Health Studies students and Undergraduate Scholarship students, and in the Oak Room from 3-5 p.m., featuring Sigma Xi and Graduate students.

FUSA Bowling – Spend your Thursday night at the Nutmeg Bowling Alley for free! This week is glow in the dark themed, so be sure to wear white to light up the night. Buses leave the Barone Campus Center traffic circle at 9:30 p.m.

Fairfield Flicks Presents: Fifty Shades Freed  Bring your friends and come watch Fifty Shades Freed in Gonzaga auditorium at 10 p.m. with free popcorn, candy and refreshments. Believing they’ve left behind the shadowy figures from the past, billionaire Christian Grey and his new wife, Anastasia, fully embrace their inextricable connection and shared life of luxury. Just as the Greys’ begin to step into their new roles, sinister events come to light and jeopardize their happy ending before it even begins.

Fairfield Flicks Presents: Paddington 2  Bring your friends and come watch Paddington 2 in Gonzaga auditorium at 10 p.m. with free popcorn, candy and refreshments. Settled in with the Brown family, Paddington the bear is a popular member of the community who spreads joy and marmalade wherever he goes. One fine day, he spots a pop-up book in an antique shop — the perfect present for his beloved aunt’s 100th birthday. When a thief steals the prized book, Paddington embarks on an epic quest to unmask the culprit before Aunt Lucy’s big celebration.
