A public forum for student issues on campus hosted by FUSA President Rob Vogel’12 was held last night in the Lower Level BCC. Questions on everything from potential RecPlex renovations to events geared towards commuter students were brought to the table.

One of the main developments in the works is an integration of student initiative groups’ concerns. Vogel discussed the creation of a president’s council in an effort to collectively voice key issues to the administration.

“I think this was a very good inaugural forum for us,” said Vogel in an interview after the event. Vogel noted the fruitful discussion as having the potential to be much more beneficial to the campus community if more students attend future forums. “We want students to feel that this isn’t a FUSA event; it’s a student event.”
