To the Editor:
I would like to give another opinion of Russell Crowe’s music. His latest CD, “Other Ways of Speaking” sounds as good, if not better than anything that is out there! I listen to it every night when I am cooking dinner. It is upbeat, understandable lyrics and awesome, uplifting music…just an extension of Mr. Crowe’s unlimited ability to do whatever it is he is doing, as if he were created to do it. The band itself is very talented musically. It is refreshing to hear real songs about real events. Every song is uniquely written and with a unique sound. “Folsom Prison Blues” is absolutely great. Mr. Crowe’s take on it really amazed me, it’s so upbeat. It just doesn’t get any better when an Australian can take “Folsom Prison Blues” to new heights, write an awesome true song about picking up drug addict and taking them back to their home.
