1. Higher finish in the MAAC: Men or women’s basketball?

Alex Gross: The numbers don’t lie – I’d go with women’s basketball.

Jack McNamara: Mamadou’s real nice.

Chris Simmons: Women’s basketball. Too bad Hutch and the volleyball team are the only people who show up.

2. Who’s telling the truth: Clemens or McNamee?

Alex Gross: Both give baseball a bad name. What happened to good, clean fun?

Jack McNamara: Remember all those times that Clemens said he was retiring? McNamee.

Chris Simmons: Clemens’ best friend and his wife used HGH, but of course he didn’t. He threw his wife under the bus to save himself. Real classy.

3. Which NBA star will work out better for his new team: Gasol, Bibby, Shaq or Kidd?

Alex Gross: Shaq. Not only is he a terrific player, he is also a well-rounded individual. Let’s not forget his fine acting abilities in the ’96 hit “Kazaam.”

Jack McNamara: At this point, the only thing that Shaq can do right is look damn fine in that suit he wears courtside.

Chris Simmons: Kidd’s washed up, Bibby will help, but Gasol and Shaq will have a big impact. I would be funny, but Alex stole my “Kazaam” reference. Who doesn’t enjoy a boom box genie?

4. Is NASCAR a sport?

Alex Gross: Burning unnecessary amounts of gas? Of course it’s a sport!

Jack McNamara: No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No.

Chris Simmons: Anybody with a driver license thinks they can do it, but it’s harder than it looks. It definitely is.

5. Was Ludacris worth the money?

Alex Gross: Not talking to The Mirror, no encore and showing up late? Definitely not worth it.

Jack McNamara: He ripped off the school big-time, but I’ve featured him in “By the Numbers twice.” So, yes.

Chris Simmons: I didn’t go, so I wouldn’t know. I’m still hoping for a country act eventually.
