1. Best lacrosse team on campus: men or women?
Tom Cleary: The women will have the better season. They are playing really well right now. The men’s team could go either way.
Keith Connors: The ladies have looked good early, but the men have shown they can play with some of the nation’s best.
Chris Simmons: Am I the only one who noticed that Tom said the men’s team could go either way?
2. Which spring sports team will have the best season?
Tom Cleary: Probably women’s lacrosse – they have the talent.
Keith Connors: See above.
Chris Simmons: See two boxes left. Not so fun when you go first and someone else can steal your answers is it, Tom?
3. Can softball or baseball bounce back from a slow start?
Tom Cleary: The MAAC season is really all that matters for both.
Keith Connors: It’s early enough that it’s a ‘yes’ for both. Big MAAC games are on the way.
Chris Simmons: I could say something good here, but I don’t feel like getting Facebook threats from the baseball team again.
4. Who will win the AL East?
Tom Cleary: Boston Red Sox, no doubt about it.
Keith Connors: As a Yankees fan, it’s fun to be the underdog for a change. I’ll go with Boston, but I’m picking that other AL East team to win come October.
Chris Simmons: The Baltimore Orioles. As soon as Calvin Edwin Ripken, Jr. buys the team.
5. Who is in your Final Four?
Tom Cleary: Kansas, UNC, Stanford and UCLA.
Keith Connors: Rock Chalk Jayhawk. Kansas (and my bracket) are due in ’08.
Chris Simmons: UMD women are all I have left after the men choked and no Fairfield.
