Question 1: Who is your sleeper team to win the World Series?
Tom Cleary: The Chi-Sox. I don’t know what it is about them. I love Ozzie’s fire and I think the young guns, John Danks and Gavin Floyd will be enough to win.
Keith Connors: The Brew Crew. The name alone is worth the pick.
Chris Simmons: Anyone but the Red Sox. I don’t want to have to listen to Prof. Lane in class if that happens.
Question 2: Is this the year the Cubs finally do it?
Tom Cleary: Yeah and pigs can fly now too.
Keith Connors: Yeah. Sure. And a student that changes his grades on StagWeb can still graduate from Fairfield…

Question 3: My favorite NFL team…
Tom Cleary: …is not the same without Tom Brady. I wonder what Vinny Testaverde is up to right now?
Keith Connors: …still gets no love.
Chris Simmons: … has the best defense in the NFL. Ray Lewis kills people. Literally.
Question 4: More preseason excitement: basketball or hockey?
Tom Cleary: Hockey. It’s aboot time the Rangers actually win a series in the playoffs.
Keith Connors: My predictions: King James and the Nets go to Brooklyn. The Devils go to the Stanley Cup.
Chris Simmons: I thought hockey folded. This year the Wizards are finally getting past the Cavs.
Question 5: Fairfield player most likely to play in the pros one day?
Tom Cleary: Maybe a lacrosse player. Greg Downing ’07 did it, so maybe someone else can too.
Keith Connors: Here’s a bold prediction: Baendu Lowenthal ’09.
Chris Simmons: Probably someone on the women’s soccer team since Brett Maron did it last year.
