TMNT: A New Wave of Darker, Younger Turtle Power

Four turtles have ooze spilled on them, are raised by a rat, named after the Renaissance artists and trained to be crime fighting ninjas. Who wouldn't want to dip into whatever these guys were on? This is a great movie to take a younger sibling to, or to go with mind-altered friends. It is funny at times and nice to see the 'tubular' heroes hit the screen again.

Modest Mouse Brings More ‘Good News’

Modest Mouse frontman Isaac Brock and friends have been proving, since they formed in 1993, that they are a force to be reckoned with. This album isn't anything too out of the ordinary. There's no reinventing what Modest Mouse is or anything like that here. Only the most hardcore Modest Mouse fans will find themselves disappointed.

Study Shows Rise in Substance Abuse

While Van Wilder, Senator Blutarsky of "Animal House" and Frank the Tank of "Old School" are said to be extreme representations of college life, a recent study shows that they may not be too far off. "The use of alcohol as a relaxant and social lubricant is heavily influenced by peers and is the 'quick fix' for students to relieve the pressures of academic rigor," said Jeanne DiMuzio, director of counseling services.

HPV Vaccine To Be Administered at Health Center

Fairfield's Health Center plans to open an HPV clinic that will administer vaccinations. The shots may cost less than the series does now, about $360 for all three shots. However, the Health Center does not currently have GARDASIL available.

Beloved Jesuit Regan To Return as Commencement Speaker

Before his appointment as Provincial Superior of the New England Province, he was one of the most beloved professors and colleagues during his 15-year tenure at Fairfield. Now, four years later, Fr. Thomas Regan will return to Fairfield on May 20 to accept an honorary doctor of laws degree and address the Class of 2007 at its commencement.
