The Stags wrapped up their trip to Orlando, Florida in the Old Spice Classic with a 72-66 loss to the Indiana State Sycamores on Sunday.

Fairfield nearly erased a 23-point deficit in the second half, but the comeback was not enough to hold off the Sycamores. Rakim Sanders finished the game with 21 points and six steals, while Derek Needham added 11 points of his own.
The Stags posted a 1-2 record in the Old Spic Classic as they started the tournament with a 55-44 win over Arizona State. However, Fairfield dropped its second contest to Dayton 56-49, which ended the chance to move on to the tournament final.

Fairfield will now travel to Niagara for its first MAAC regular season contest on December 2nd.
